Antique, Tag, Food, Jacuzzi

After a well deserved nap, we headed out to the Sunday antique market in San Telmo. As with most antique markets, it was filled with lots of crap and a few cool items.

One of the things that has been the most striking is the sheer amount of tagging and grafitti that's everywhere. This picture shows the juxtaposition of the ubiquitous cute hand-painted numbers and a big shiny tag.

We had two great meals yesterday and realized that servers here don't understand the concept of writing in a gratuity when paying with a credit card, so we basically tell them how much tip to add before they run our card. The food has been tasty and the company has even better. Below is a picture of Carm's completely flattened half chicken from lunch.

After trying to find our planned dinner restaurant, which ended up being closed on Sunday we ended up at an Italian restaurant. After dinner and a few drinks we wandered back to the house and chilled.

The evening ended after a few hours in the jacuzzi tub. Two people who will remain nameless fell asleep in the tub. It was a great day.

Best line that sums up most markets: "it was filled with lots of crap and a few cool items." Sooo true, sooo true!

Wish I could be there with you guys! Next time! :D

Thanks Heather! Lisa brought that home from San Francisco for me!

@Isaac - yeah miss you guys too. Methinks we will definitely be back. Although we will need to seduce Emily into coming again so we have a translator.
